Chris Kyle Controversy
I know, that’s a rather weak spine of a title, isn’t it. I’ve been working on my response before 2014 arrived, so I think it is relatively polished by now. And it’s got some upvotes in a recent iteration, so I’ll place it here, for reference later.
In human history and civilizations, their greatest heroes have usually been their greatest killers. The more a person could kill, the more likely their civilization will acclaim them as “hero” or yuusha. Basically, they are the janitors of their society, cleaning out the trash that nobody else wants to deal with.
Kyle’s problem is\was fundamentally that he wasn’t paranoid enough and wasn’t prepared to kill everyone in the room once he got back to the states, which led to his early death at the hands of a supposed fellow patriotic American. Then again, true heroes don’t bare their fangs at their own society, in fact they are often betrayed and killed by their own society once the usefulness of the hero is over. It is perhaps a testament to the purity of a hero, someone who gets the job done that the rest of society cannot or will not do. Someone who often in the end is betrayed by that society later on. Socrates is one example. Themistocles is another in Greek history. Sparta became a den of pleasure and heathen glories under Rome, generations after Leonidas. Hannibal Barca. Far from testaments that nullifies heroism, such things exemplify it.
The fact that Islamic Jihad and the Leftist alliance glorifies their own killers, who they called Che Gue and suicide bombers, is merely proof that their society and civilization is not ours. When the Left attacks one of our heroes, that means they are attacking an ally and their motivation isn’t justice or anything of that sort, it’s merely to win in the war. In order to fight their deception, it is important to consciously and subconsciously recognize that the Left’s heroes are not Chris Kyle or other patriotic American soldiers or warriors. The Left’s heroes are suicide bombers, Islamic rapists and serial killers, and Leftist rapists and mass murderers. It is important to realize that in your heart, even if you don’t exactly know why. It is what it should be. One society’s hero is another society’s enemy.
The people sitting on the fence may like to believe everyone is equal or that humanity has some kind of “rights” that make them immune from such as individual virtue, but I’ve determined that it is not so. Pick a side, or a side will be chosen for you. There are no neutrals in this war, and that includes people on the fence and the heroes of each faction.

Half way down the list.
The reason why I put this under the unconventional warfare category is that 5th Column fighters are not flying under the right flag, or even any flag.
