Coordinating both hands together
This is something I picked up from watching Wing Chun and other chinese martial arts. Iain provides a good set piece example here. I recommend people who are studying oyo or bunkai for kata, to look at this and benefit.
What it is is essentially a training method that allows a person to use both hands and increase their kinesthetic awareness, thus reducing their visual perception time and the time it takes them to physically act. It’s something people who think learning is sparring, have a deficiency.
